Patricia Daly:
I moved from the Midwest to SoCal and had my 69VW shipped here. Really needed to find a good, honest, shop that cared about VW's so I could get mine back on the road. Found DAPS. . .after searching and finding them on SAMBA.com. Had a good feeling about them. Called and talked to David, the owner. Great Guy!!! He CARED!!!! He took time out of his schedule to flat-bed my bug to his shop and he got it running!! Took good care of me and my VW. No B.S.. . .told me what I needed, replaced my starter, adjusted my brakes and off I went. David,YOU ROCK!!!!!! You've got me as a loyal customer. It's hard when you move across the country and leave all your connections behind. But now, I am grateful to have found DAPS and an owner that is serious about doing a good job and doing it honestly. :D

Inherited a fully restored '74 Super Beetle; went to start car this afternoon to go to work, and my gas pedal had separated from the pulley. I freaked out, called a friend that had work done to his bug, and he told me DAPS was the best place ever. Called them up, got there 30 min before closing, and they replaced my throttle cable and had the pedal back together in about 30 minutes, for just over $70.00! I had my bug towed all the way from Crestline, CA, instead of closer to San Bernardino, 'cause the shop owners there didn't give a crap. The staff there KICKED ASS, and I will ONLY go to DAPS for all my bug needs. THANKS GUYS!!!
